Leadership Training Center
Fundraising for the school is now underway. Early estimates of construction costs are only $65,000-$70,000. If the Lord wills, we will build this training facility where future leaders of the Lord’s church will be equipped to shepherd God’s people. You can send special contributions footnoted “school” to direct your gift to this project.

Boat & Motor Repair
Rains fell heard in November. The flooded rivers cut off access to several parts of the village of Unión Santeña. It was during one of these floods that the boat took on water and sank. The boat was damaged and the motor was destroyed. See the October and November reports for more details.

Estimates to repair the fiberglass are approx. $1,000. Once the work begins, it will take about a month to finish. We had considered putting one motor back on the boat but, for safety reasons, we have decided to install two motors. Should one motor fail when you’re 60 miles out to sea, the second motor can save your life. Two used motors with controls will be about $12,000.

This boat is vital to our travel to and from the villages. If you’re able, please send a special contribution, earmarked “boat repair.”
